BCAA, in powder or capsule form:
BCAAs (branched-chain amino acids) are a group of 3 branched amino acids said to be essential for muscle: leucine, isoleucine and valine. Their natural synthesis by the body is not possible. It is therefore essential to provide BCAAs through nutrition.
During a sports session, muscle fibers break down, this is called muscle catabolism. These amino acids then constitute a source of energy easily accessible during training to reduce this phenomenon of muscle catabolism and thus protect muscle mass.
